So many times I write in this blog it's because of some special event or big to do. So just to be different, I thought I'd tell you about our typical day. Today is the final day of a very long holiday weekend. Ethan went to bed last night around 10:30 and slept until 4:15. After feeding him for about a half hour, I placed him back in his crib, as always, and walked blurry eyed back to bed. Within minutes we hear grunts followed by an unusual cry. Little Man had decided it was time for a diaper change rather than sleep. So Chris took over the night duty of diaper changes and rocking back to sleep. We were finally able to fall back to sleep around 5:30.
Fast forward to 8:45 when Ethan decided it was time to wake up. He ate, played on his play mat, and rolled over three times!!!!! That's right, my little guy has learned how to flip from his belly to his back! He first did this yesterday but I didn't see it because Maggie walked in between us. I'm so excited that I was able to actually witness it today.
I've spent the day lounging in pjs while alternating between feedings, bouncing on the yoga ball, and attempting to watch a movie. We've been watching this movie for almost 3 hours now and are only and hour and 15 minutes into it! These little cat naps Ethan's perfected sure are fun...and I wouldn't change a minute of it.
