Dr. Apt.

We had our first OB appointment this morning and all went well. We got to hear the baby's heart beat again which was at 170 bpm. The doc said the rate will end up lowering in the next few weeks. More exciting news...my weight is exactly the same as it was at my first appointment. Somehow the 2.5 pounds that I gained last visit disappeared even though I haven't really been getting all that sick anymore. They also drew 7 vials of blood to test for all kinds of illnesses, diseases, and what not. We've got an NT scan scheduled for next Thursday which uses ultrasound to determine the baby's risk of Downs. New pic tomorrow!
