NT Scan

Yesterday we went in for our NT scan which is an ultrasound and blood test that checks for Downs. While our chances of this are very slim, I have to admit I chose to do the test for selfish reasons...I wanted to see what Baby looks like now.

From what I've read in my books, the test usually takes about 15 minutes. When we went, Baby was moving all around from the second she started the ultrasound. It was so amazing to see it's little arms and legs moving around like crazy followed by massive body shaking hiccups. I just can't believe that I can't feel all of that going on in there. Baby refused to get in the position needed to take a measurement so the tech had me twist, cough, bounce, and tilt on my head all in an attempt to move in to the right place. Nothing worked...stubborn booger! I guess she eventually got something good enough after an hour! We have to call our doctor in a week to get the results.
